Day 0 – Overnight Volvo

Departure from Delhi

Meet at Majnu Ka Tila in the evening and board the comfortable overnight Volvo bus to Shimla. Settle into your seat, engage in group bonding, share stories, and get to know fellow travelers. Relax and rest as you travel through the night, leaving the city behind.

Day 1 – Last Indian Village

Chitkul · Baspa River · Swiss Camps

After arriving in Shimla, take a halt for breakfast around Narkanda and soak in the mountain vibes. Drive ahead to reach Chitkul — the last Indian village before the Indo‑Tibetan border. Check in to our scenic campsite in Rakham/Chitkul, freshen up, and relax near the pristine Baspa River. In the evening, attend an acclimatization session by your trip captain, followed by home‑style dinner and overnight stay in Swiss‑camps.

Day 2 – Kinnaur Kailash

Mathi Temple · Akhri Dhaba · Roghi Point

Wake up early, post breakfast, take a stroll around Chitkul. Visit Mathi Temple and the famous Hindustan Ka Akhri Dhaba. Drive towards Kalpa, check in to our hotel, and witness the magical sunset over the Kinnaur Kailash range. Visit Roghi (suicide‑point) and explore Kalpa village. Savour home‑style dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 3 – Khab Sangam · Nako · Gue

Confluence · Nako Lake · 500‑Year‑Old Mummy

Post breakfast, drive from Kalpa to Tabo. En route, halt at Khab Sangam (confluence of Spiti & Sutlej), visit Nako Lake and monastery, and Gue village to see the 500‑year‑old mummified remains of the Buddhist monk Sangha Tenzin. Arrive in Tabo, check in to our hotel/homestay, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Dhankar · Pin Valley

Tabo Monastery · Dhankar · Pin Valley

Early morning, visit Tabo Monastery and the famous Tabo caves (time permitting). Drive to Dhankar Village and meditate at the cliff‑top Dhankar Monastery. En route to Kaza, drive along the Pin river towards Pin Valley National Park (if time permits). Arrive in Kaza, check in to our hotel, freshen up, and explore the old bazaars. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 – Langza · Komic · Hikkim

Fossil Village · Highest Motorable Village · Highest Post Office

Post breakfast, head out for exploration of villages around Kaza. Visit Langza — the fossil village — and get clicked with the Medicine Buddha statue. Continue to Komic, the world's highest motorable village. End the day at Hikkim, home to the world's highest post office. Spend the evening café hopping in Kaza and buying souvenirs. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 – Key Monastery · Chicham · Chandratal

Key Monastery · Asia's Highest Bridge · Moon Lake

Post breakfast, bid adieu to Kaza and drive to Key Monastery — spend time with the monks and enjoy herbal tea. Explore Kibber village and take photos at Chicham Bridge — Asia's highest suspension bridge. Stop at Losar for lunch and continue over Kunzum La (15,000 ft). Arrive at Chandratal (Moon Lake), check in to our campsite, and enjoy the calmness of the lake. Bonfire, dinner, and overnight in Swiss camps.

Day 7 – Atal Tunnel · Departure

Chacha‑Chachi Dhaba · Atal Tunnel · Manali

Wake up early, post breakfast, drive from Chandratal to Manali. Stop at Chacha‑Chachi Ka Dhaba or Chhatru for tea. Traverse from barren Lahaul & Spiti to lush Kullu Valley via the Atal Tunnel. Arrive in Manali, take a stroll in Old Manali or Mall Road (time permitting), and start your return journey to Delhi by evening. Overnight bus.

Frequently Asked Questions

The best time for the full circuit is May to October when the roads are open and weather is favourable. June to September offers lush greenery and pleasant days, while October gives clear skies and crisp air. Winter (Nov–Apr) is extremely cold with heavy snowfall, making most roads inaccessible.
The Spiti Full Circuit is moderate to challenging due to high altitude (up to 15,000 ft) and long travel days. It is recommended for those with some travel experience and basic fitness. We provide oxygen cylinders and a medical kit, and our experienced Trip Captain ensures proper acclimatization.
We provide a mix of hotels, homestays, and Swiss camps — 1 night in Rakcham (camps), 1 night in Kalpa (hotel), 1 night in Tabo (homestay), 2 nights in Kaza (hotel), and 1 night in Chandratal (camps). All are on a sharing basis with comfortable amenities.
Pack warm layers — thermals, fleece, down jacket, woollen gloves, cap, and waterproof windbreaker. Comfortable trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, and a reusable water bottle. A power bank and camera are essential. Carry any personal medication.
